Terms of service

Plain language, because terms nobody can read aren't terms anyone agreed to. Here's the deal between you and us. By using ShadowFlights, you agree to the terms below.

1. What ShadowFlights does

ShadowFlights is a flight-deal discovery and alert service. We find unusually cheap fares (often error or mistake fares) leaving from your city, surface them to you, and link you out to book directly with the airline or a travel site. We do not sell tickets, mark up fares, or book travel on your behalf. We are not a travel agency and not an airline.

2. Membership and billing

A ShadowFlights membership is a recurring subscription that gives you access to the deal feed and deal alerts for your city. It’s $12.99/mo billed monthly, or $9.99/mo billed annually ($119.88/yr), at the plan you pick at checkout. You authorize us, through our payment processor, to charge your payment method that price on that cadence, and your membership renews automatically until you cancel. 3. The deals, and what we can and can't promise

• We surface real, bookable fares from public listings and fare data. We try hard to show only deals with a working booking path.
• Mistake and error fares are, by nature, fleeting. A fare can be pulled by the airline at any time, including after we surface it and before you book. We can't guarantee any specific fare will still be available, bookable, or honored by the airline.
• Prices, routes, and availability are set by the airlines and travel sites, not by us. Always confirm the final price and terms at the point of booking.
• Savings and statistics. Average savings figures reflect the typical price difference between tracked fares and their normal published price. They are estimates, not promises: your actual savings depend on your route, dates, flexibility, and how you book. Ratings and traveler counts shown in the funnel are aggregate figures and may be rounded.

4. Acceptable use

Use ShadowFlights for your own personal travel planning. Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute our deal feed; don't try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; and don't use it to do anything unlawful. A membership is for you, not for resale.

5. No affiliation with airlines

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the airlines or travel sites whose fares we surface, unless we explicitly say so. Airline names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the fare.

6. Disclaimers and liability

ShadowFlights is provided "as is." We're not responsible for an airline pulling a fare, a booking site's pricing, a trip that doesn't go as planned, or any loss arising from a deal we surfaced. Your booking is a contract between you and the airline or travel site, not us.
